*3 years service warrants whereas the frst 2 years include all spares also however in third year spares will be charged extra as applicable (if required) for B2C application.

Obligations: If any manufacturing defect(s) are observed in any Ipower battery within the warranty period as mentioned, Ipower Batteries Pvt. Ltd. only obligation is to repair or replace the defective part with new parts or equivalent at no cost to the customer for part or labour when Ipower Batteries Pvt. Ltd. acknowledges that such malfunction is caused due to faulty material or workmanship during manufacturing.

In the event of replacement of parts, the company reserves the right to use part of the same brand as the affected part or any other brand which is used by the company in the course of manufacture. All replaced parts under this warranty will become the property of the company and must be returned to the company.

Natural Performance of the Batteries

  1. Range: The mileage depends on many variable factor such as road conditions, gradients, start and stop acceleration, charge level, temperature, traffc density, tyre pressure, grade ability, load, driving style and the condition of vehicle and battery maintenance. The mileage will reduce as battery is consumed. The mileage will also reduce as battery grows old, it is a normal decay phenomenon.
  2. The batteries are warranted against manufacturing defects only and not against normal deterioration in the mileage

Terms & Conditions

  1. Ipower Batteries are warranted against all defects in material and workmanship. Liability under this warranty is only limited to making good of defects arising-solely from use of faulty material or workmanship during manufacturing and developing under proper use. We are not responsible for any other direct or indirect problem arising from battery fault.
  2. The warranty period for the products starts on the date of billing and sticker pasted on the battery top.
  3. The right to determine whether a battery needs repair, rectification or free replacement rests with the company.
  4. The defective battery arising out of the replacement under this warranty will become the property of the company and no scrap rebate will be given for it.
  5. The warranty period on the battery being replaced free of cost shall commence from the date of sale of the original battery as stated in the original warranty format & not from the date of replacement given. For example, a battery set was purchased on 1st January, which if fails on the 1st of August and another battery is given in the company, then the warranty of new batteries will remain from the 1st of January.
  6. The charging system & electrical circuit of vehicle shall be checked by the company authorized personnel or dealer before finalizing settlement of any warranty claim.
  7. All liabilities under this warranty shall cease if the battery is:
    1. Transferred to a third party or any other vehicle.
    2. Used in any application other than that specified in the company’s application chart.
    3. Damaged due to fitment of additional accessories in vehicles other than original fitment.
    4. Out of warranty period.
  8. Warranty will be handled by Computech Systems directly from their service center at Kundli, to provide better and timely after sale service, we will give advance replacement whenever and wherever required, the replacement will be adjusted against defective batteries returned to us.
  9. This warranty does not cover:
    1. Damages to the battery caused by accident, fire faulty electrical systems, improper handling, services of the battery by unauthorized dealer/auto electricians, willful abuse, destruction by fire, collision, theft or recharging.
    2. Breakage of container and cover or breakage/deformation of terminal due to mechanical shock like hammering.
    3. Battery fitted in any other application.
    4. Used for carrying more than permissible load.
    5. Used for stunts or competitions or gaming or other type of abusive riding.
    6. Vehicle peak current is more than the ampere of the battery.
    7. Repaired or spare part replaced from a non-authorized source.
    8. Power Train components found tampered with or seal found broken.
    9. Modified/altered for any specific use other than as personal vehicle.
    10. Damaged due to natural or manmade calamities such as flooding, fire, falling objects, accident etc.
    11. Non-functional due to natural wear and tear, ageing, misuse or negligence.
  10. Adjudication & settlement of claim will take minimum 7-10 working days as the battery has to be tested for the reported failure.
  11. For outstation bills, Ipower will bear one side freight for battery replacement in first year however customer will bear both side freight in second & third year of claim.
    1. Ipower will repair/replace faulty batteries in the warranty period but if the battery is not found faulty customer will bear Rs. 2000 testing & handling charges.
    2. Ipower will charge for broken cabinet @ Rs. 2000/- and for replacement of charge/discharge connector @ Rs. 1000/- in warranty period.

  1. Warranty void if usage of vehicle is miss declared.
  2. All disputes are subject to Delhi Jurisdiction.
  3. In case of water logging found in battery, there is no claim. This happens only when battery pack is fully covered with water till top cover or it can happen when it is intentionally dropped in water or in flood condition.
  4. Batteries must be kept as cool as possible to ensure long life & good life performance. Batteries become abnormally hot & start bulging if vehicle is driven under overload for long distance, charged under sunlight, charged immediately after driving or the charge is kept ON for a long period of time even after battery is fully charged. The battery life of your vehicle can substantially extend by putting to battery on charge at night.
  5. Regular servicing of your electric vehicle battery at our Authorized Service Station is extremely important. During the
    servicing, batteries are also checked for their state of health and corrective action stops any further damage. Permanent warranty will cease if service of the vehicles’ battery is not done quarterly.
  6. Above warranty policy is applicable only for new vehicles fitted with a new lithium-ion battery set sold first to the customer.
  7. It is strictly advised that the battery shall not be charge indoors (inside a house, an office, factory, showroom etc.). It should be charged outdoors.

Warranty Registration Process

  1. Fill in the following warranty card details as mandatory*
    1. Battery details (Serial no. , Capacity, Bill no. , Date of purchase)*
    2. Dealer details (Name of Dealer / OEM from whom battery is purchased)*
    3. Stamp of the Dealer.
  2. Proceed for warranty registration process. There are two easy ways to register the warranty:
    1. By post:
    2. After flling in your purchase details on warranty card post the filled warranty card to the address mentioned on the warranty card.
    3. By Website:
      1. Use the link given on Ipower batteries official website.
      2. Verify your account, fill the details, upload your warranty card and submit

Warranty Claim Process

  1. Once warranty is registered and an issue arises in the battery, call on IPower customer care number +91 95998 22711 to get guidance for best possible solution (In feld, at service centre or at plant )
  2. If suggested to send product to plant kindly send battery on PAID basis in one of the following ways:
    1. For door delivery (preferable for fast resolution of claim) Book at the address given at the end of warranty card.
    2. For Godown Delivery Book from any transport which can deliver battery at Sanjay Gandhi Transport, Delhi
  3. While sending please send the following documents with complete details. Send the following details with Challan, a copy of bill and warranty card.
    1. Serial Number of the product which you are sending
    2. Return address
    3. Preferred transport / Courier
    4. Mobile number/WhatsApp number for further communication

Note:-

  1. The Battery shall be appropriately packed to avoid damage because damage batteries will not be considered in warranty.
  2. Customers shall inform Ipower Service Centre at-9599822711 if any dealers/Person demand money for getting battery replaced & get a lucky coupon of Rs. 1Lac & assured gift for eachsuch reported issue.
